Nicely done and different (compared to American style) for a funeral. Interesting to see a mix of Polynesians and European New Zealanders in uniform dancing Polynesian style.

Good way to get out the negative energy inside the living and to scare away any demons that might be lurking around the area.

Imagine those guys with their bayonets attached coming at you full speed. I'd run for sure.

That video is excellent..
This has been a very tough time in NZ for our small tightly knit defence forces, we have lost 5 brave individuals over the last month on active duty.
The Haka is very emotive here in New Zealand, commonly seen as a challenge before going into battle, it as seen here is used as a mark of respect to fallen comrades.
I personally think the work our small deployment is undertaking is superb.

Our Small defence forces are always highly regarded. Back when we had a Strike wing of the Air Force, our guys in our 'old outdated' A4K skyhawks always gave other nations air forces in much more modern equipment a major surprise.
Our Army units have fought in every major action since the boer war, and have fought with distinction.
