It was a Bell Modified P39 flown by Alvin"Tex" Johnson that won the 1946 Thompson Trophy @ the Cleveland National Air Races & I was there.
And that fact my friend, SIR! is what makes it feel very special that this website allows you to share your experiences with a generation that might not have been exposed to you, had I not started this site....Quote:
