You really can become obsessed with getting "pylon shots" whereby the airplane or airplanes (multiple planes + pylon are holy grai IMHO
I'd love to claim credit here but it's pure luck motordriving through a pass at I forget what the D4's max frame rate is but it's damn near video LOL..

Lefy, White Lightning, Reno '82. My dad shot this on slide film. I just picked up a Nikon ES-2 that allows me to easily digitize either negatives or slides fairly easily. I've got about 25 pics from Reno 82 that I'm working on right now. Its slow going trying to remove all the dirt and other issues on the slides (you can see someone's fingerprint quite clearly in this shot still.)
