Thank you for a magnificent trip down memory lane! As a certified "plane nut" since early childhood I attended all but two of the first 35 Reno's. Missed two thanks to the "Vietnam War Games". Functioned as either photographer, crew member or pylon judge in each one. Also attended many other air races, and other events whenever possible. Now, as fate would have it I am sitting at home listening so longingly to the sounds of the racers when they are on the course 35 miles from my ranch thanks to an "old war wound" which keeps me homebound. One thing that can never be taken away however is the many memories of the sights, sounds and the almost limitless number of wonderful folks I met during those fantastic years.
