    Hoot to drive Strega ??

    I read on Facebook that Hoot Gibson will be the pilot for Strega this year..........anyone else know for sure?

    That's what being reported by those who attended the NAG banquet last night. Apparently Tiger made the announcement. That could make things exciting...

              Tiger has been known to say a lot of things that are just talk so i'll wait and see,.

              Let's say Hoot is in. Where's the money coming from? Who will be on "the crew"? Finally, who's prepping/building the engine or engines?

                The LAST NASA-type that got the ride in Strega got fired pretty quickly because he refused to provide his own parachute.

                And as for Nixon getting involved, no. Mike is out of the racing game now. Period.

                  Pretty sure there was a lot more involved in that decision than just the parachute deal.
