    Collings Foundation should have their B-17 and B-24 and a 51 out there at Noon, Today, Tomorrow, and Noon departure on Wednesday.....

            Yes...but the P-51 time is for dual-instruction....so bring your logbook.

              I heard that the planes are grounded in Reno due to insurance cancellation?!?!

                Well, they're not grounded...the just can't sell rides in them.

                This same thing happened to Collings last year up here in Seattle at Boeing Field. It's a county owned airport and therefore the county tried to lump the warbirds in with 'commercial' flights that were going in and out of the field. It was a misunderstanding about how insurance standards were applied, and it resulted in a firestorm of complaints (including myself...a county employee) to the person in charge of the decision. They were overwhelmed and realized that they had made a mistake. While it was too late to make changes last year, they were able to make proper arrangements for this year and the future.
