  • Loss of De Havilland D.H. 89

    The twin engine bi-plane "Dragon Rapide" crashed in Australia with 6 people aboard. They all perished with the plane. I believe it was one of a kind. Prayers to all of the families.

      Actually I think it was the more rare DH 84 Dragon, the Dragon Rapide's predecessor.

        Hiya,
        such a terrible tragedy, the airplane was indeed the earlier Dragon, but as for one of a kind, there is a Dragon flying here in NZ to go with 3 dragon rapides and a truly one of a kind Dh Dragonfly which was a 4 seat dragon rapide..
