  • PRS Waiver

I seem to recall a post in the Fall (I can't find it) that suggested one of the telling hurdles to racing in September was the granting of the FAA waiver for PRS and that this had to occur in February or March.

Is there any word on the chances of this waiver being granted?

    Thanks

Don't have any news for you, but in addition to the timing of permits, I seem to recall Mr. *Houghton* also saying in effect, if no PRS, then no races.

adminedit** Just a guess but changed spelling of "Houghton" to correct.....
    No pixels were harmed, honest.

      Re: PRS Waiver

There was a meeting yesterday...the airport authority is doing what they can to get the new license for RARA. RARA president Mike H. was pretty much all smiles.

The waiver from the FAA is something else altogether. Haven't heard a word about that.

      PRS dates: June 13-16

My recollection is the same. No PRS, no races. I can't see a circumstance where the FAA would deny the PRS wavier and grant the racing wavier. Keep hoping for the best.

I have never been to PRS but I would assume that since there are operations that are not the norm for an airport that one would need to have added insurance to put on the school?
