    The Factual Report on the Al Goss (Warlock) accident is on the above NTSB information sheet with the final to be released on 3/8/2012. Blue Skies Al & Steve. Both will always be remembered.

    And there is no probable cause, so they can't figure what caused it.

      that is just the factual report, the findings, if they can determine what the probable cause was, will be added when the final is issued. From what the factual report says, i would expect the findings to be something like "controlled flight into terrain, probable cause unknow"

          One pilot, 10,000 hours, the other pilot, 33,000 hours of flight time. These two were as qualified as possible.



          "...airplane circling overhead, followed by a constant, shallow rate of descent before it impacted terrain in a slightly nose down attitude."

          What do you think happened? Stuck flight controls?

            I could probably think up a dozen possible causes and you a completely different 12, but it would be a pointless activity without any way to verify or vindicate any or them.

            All paths lead up to the same results, the loss of two great guys and a vintage aircraft. That's probably the only fact we will ever know now.

              A friend in the industry said many say one may have thought the other had the airplane. But as you say no one really can know.
