From one Vet to all those who've served and sacrificed...Thank you. May the good will and well wishes of this most special day live within you all the days of the year.

Be it Army, Navy, Marine, Air Force, Coast Guard or Reserve of any force, as a citizen of this great country, the debit owed can never be repaid. May this simple "Thank You" be enough to convey the thanks of a nation that owes so much.

I'm with you, John. Just took down my old one ( to be carfully and reverently disposed of by my local VFW post) and put up a new one. Annual practice at my house.

Old Glory Our Veterans

BN and I keep an edition of our flag (usually more than one) on display wherever we are at any given time!

Someone once told me I was just "conditioned" when I said something to the effect that... 'there is no other flag on this planet that can ever look even close to as beautiful as our US flag does'

Not sure exactly what they were thinkin' ?? but..

Our flag is simply a statement of independence, the massive "little guy" against the ... (don't kill the messenger) "state"....

Back on track!

We have now, and have for a long time, one damn'd fine bunch of folks living on this piece of land we call home!
