Thanks for sharing that with us, I know it might sound silly but viewing it helps my heart hurt just a little bit less. I know george and wendy were looking down and embracing all that were there honoring them. We must never forget all those we lost and were injured.

Very well done. We are all family here at AAFO & the air race community. I still look at a picture of Al Goss & I standing by "Warlock" every day along with reading the poem "High Flight" The words " I put out my hand & touched the face of God' is etched in my memory forever. I know all of those we have lost have done that.

I remember as a child, the TV sign off at night and the "video" with the F-105. I would like to see that again.

What a lovely way to honor George and Wendy. As a community, we've lost so much....

"High Flight" was written by John Gillespie Magee.JR during WWII. He flew for the Brits & lost his life in combat. The B&W Video is a Lockheed F-104. Well done & thanks for posting.(There is more to the story about the author)

I love that poem. It was set to music by John Denver in the 80's,
