  • Upcoming Fundraising Events

I'll keep adding to this thread as new events come up.

The next fundraiser - aside from the Governor's Banquet - is the grand opening of Campo Restaurant in Reno on November 2nd.

Tickets are $20. Proceeds will be equally divided between our Family Assistance Fund and the local food bank.

If you're in Reno, please come enjoy a drink and some hors d'oeuvres with us.

It would probably help if I gave you the website to purchase tickets!

    Re: Upcoming Fundraising Events

The photo gallery is up at http://loadedtv.com, along with sizes and prices. (Thanks to Bucky for the help.)

I've forwarded photographer info on to Stewart, which he'll add this afternoon to make sure everyone knows who took which pictures, but I'd like to have your website/email information on the photos as well. If all you wonderful photographers will send that to me, I'd really appreciate it.

I'm waiting for Brian Williams of Think Kindness to get Ebay the nonprofit info so we can have auction money deposited directly.

Btw, any money you donate and any money you spend that goes to the Family Assistance Fund, including tickets to the Governor's banquet or Campo, is tax deductible.

Oh, for the photographers, I will track how many of what we sell and forward that info on to you.

Thank you, sir. Nice to know you're checking up on me. And I did make your suggested changes to the prices. So if anyone doesn't like the prices, blame Bucky!! lol

Some days I'm a little slow! Here's the prices Bucky helped us set. If we can send the photo to a Walgreen's or something near you to be printed, the price on the 8x10s comes down $5, the 16x20 comes down $10 and the larger prints come down $20, as we don't have to cover printing and postage.

At the moment, make your donation at www.thinkkindness.org. If you can send me a copy of the confirmation, that will speed things up. You can either PM me, or send me an email.

          Thanks everyone.

          1.) 8×10 @ $35.00 – *** Note ‘full-frame’ image print size is 7×10 on 8×10 paper. ($30 if discounted for postage/printing)
          2.) 16×20 @ $85.00 – *** 16x24in size is closest full-frame format paper. ($75.00 if discounted postage/printing)
          3.) 20×30 @ $125.00 – *** 20×30 IS a ‘full-frame image’ paper size (’2×3 ratio ref.) ($100 if discounted postage/printing)
          4.) 24×36 @ $200.00 ($180 if discounted postage/printing)

Here is what Walgreens is charging for printing:
          16x20 poster $14.99
          20x30 poster $19.99
          24x36 poster $29.99

            Re: Upcoming Fundraising Events

BTW, if anyone has any doubts about the quality of the Walgreens prints...

They are fantastic. I saw one 16x20 that Sandra had printed at the telethon, and it looked much better than I ever thought it would. They do good work!

I have been using Sam's Club for prints, and they have good quality prints as well.

              Re: Upcoming Fundraising Events

Brian Brunetti sent me another 18 photographs, so we'll get those added to the gallery, hopefully this evening.

Remember the one he did of the flight helmet hanging off Precious Metal? Well, he's donated that one. I do love that picture.

With so many great shots by so many talented photographers, how in the world do we choose?

Brian Brunetti's photos have been uploaded to the gallery, so have a look.

Also, I've had quite a few of you ask about a picture that's part of the memorial video, the shot of Jimmy walking away from Ghost carrying the chocks. I'm trying to get permission to use it. As soon as I know, I'll make sure I post it here.

                Thanks!
