Saw over on Wix that Riff Raff is making her way to the Czech Republic. Saw something about her sale in the Spring but surprised this didn't get more message board play. Guess there's no love for departed ex racers? j/k

Yes, I saw the same pictures, Riff Raff landing in Iceland on her way to the Czech Republic. Very sad. That plane just looks like it belongs rounding the pylons at Reno, not showing up at some fly-in in Bulgaria. I would imagine that someone offered Mike Keenum more money that he could say no to, but I just have to feel that we've lost one of "ours". Definitely love the big Sea Furies!

You'd think if any warbird/racer was going to the Czech Republic it would be a Yak.

Maybe this guy has one of them already? Or...MAYBE...he has bought the Frost Bite/Red Heat/Mr. Awesome R-3350 Turbo-Compound Yak and is planning on campaigning a two airplane Unlimited team for 2012. One can dream...
