Why? Let us know when you find anything out. I was hoping it would do real good.

Being towed back to the pits now, nothing obvious, maybe an oil sheen.

Furias just taxied past, being towed, oil dripping down left flaps. while she was waiting to cross runway she must have leaked quite a bit as there were two guys brooming what looks like sand behind her. Steve in pace told furias "I Don't see anything leaking" before he landed. Was listening on my scanner.

They seem to be wiping down the rear fuse and tail section.
No sence of urgency to tow her back in
And start wrenching, so that could be a good
            Sign.

Crossing my fingers, was going to put some action down on her if I can get to the Peppermill tonight!

Glad he's down safe first of all.

Here's to hoping for something like an oil line, and no damage to the engine from running with low/no pressure.

All the cowls are still on and crew focused on cleaning. They don't appear to be worried.

Hope I'm wrong, but that doesn't sound good. You loose a bunch of oil and your'e racing in 2-3 hours and no cowls coming off at all???

If tje prop stopped in flight, they are done.

Not sure that it was oil. Appeared to be contained to
The rear of the airplane. No signs of it being
Anywhere around the engine. Team seemed
Very layed back. Boil off problem?
