Strega engine secrets

Everyone knows that Strega is running a stock motor with transport rods, but they are the only team that has been able to adapt the induction system to the automobile technology of the PERFORMANCE VORTEX BOOSTER (as seen on TV) with some help from Pete Law. Apparently at the high speeds of Strega the VORTEX BOOSTER makes tremendous power, much more so than an automobile.

But honestly, that is hard to believe but if thru WOW! So much for air racing dying out anytime soon. The idea of pushing these air frames out to their limits without destroying the moving parts is music to my ears.

Kudos to Lucas for sponsoring Strega... but I'd *almost* be willing to make the bet that if there's actually any Lucas-made lubricant in that engine, I'd drink a quart of it.
