Re: Silver Tigercat, El Jefe?
IT WOULD APPEAR THAT JOHN PENNY BROUGHT THE TIGER CAT IN.
SHE LOOKS GREAT IN SILVER.
SIX DIFFERENT T-6'S ARE ON DECK AND JOHNNY MALONEY SNUCK
IN WITH STEADFAST AROUND 9 A.M. IT WAS TUCKED AWAY IN JOHN
D'ALESANDRIS'S HANGER.(ACROSS FROM IF1).
THE BEAR HAS HAD SOME LEADING EDGE WING CLEAN-UP DONE,AND
AS OF 6 P.M. SHE WAS WRAPPED IN PLASTIC AND FINAL PREP WORK
BEING DONE, AND SPRAYED IN FRESH BRIGHT WHITE.
SEVERAL FORMULA'S ARE BEING PUT TOGETHER, AND FOUR BI-PLANES
ARE PRESENT, NOT COUNTING THE GREAT "DASHER" WHO HAS BEEN HERE PRACTICING DAILY WITH "RUBY" FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW.
THE TENTS,GRANDSTANDS, FLAGS AND PYLONS ARE UP.... PATIENTLY
WAITING FOR YOU TO ARRIVE.

Likewise. It's a bit like seeing Dago Red show up in bare metal, although even that would be better than kelp-like flame graphics .

It's different. Looks good but I agree, I think Big Bossman did look better.

Don't know what to think of the new paint job yet, me and my wife were on the back porch today watching what is now known as La Patrona fly around for a bit, we both agreed that she does not look as intimidating as she looked in black, not saying that it looks bad we are going to check her out tomorrow at the airfield up close and see what she looks like.
