It's true. At our EAA meeting tonight I was told it was going to be at OSH, don't know if it will be there or not. It's MN based now.

I fully expect Mr. Martin to get involved with another aircraft, the mention of dago was mostly to get a little s>>t stirred up before Reno.

Sorry, didn't realize Caplock hit. I may be a NAG, but didn't mean to yell.
Let's talk about the exciting news that Precious Metal is coming back. It was certainly thrilling to see her fly in to Stead during PRS. There is so much excitement over what Sunday's Gold might look like, considering what happened at Reno last year. Now that IS some s%^& to be stirred!!!
PRS had the biggest ever Rookie School - lots of stuff to speculate about.
See you in a few weeks, and I will apologize again. Or better yet, see me at the NAG Shack Wed through Sun and I'll give you a cookie.

I always bring home-made cookies. Many years ago a NAG lady named Medge would renew NAG memberships in the Pits. She always served cookies. When she passed away a few years ago, I was able to get her recipe; I have made them ever since. Come by the NAG Shack and say hi.

I really do miss Medge & hubby Cliff McDonald being at the air races A-LOT & think of them often. I was 'totally-hooked' on Medge's oatmeal-raisin-chocolate chip cookies (like many other NAG-sters & ramp rats). They were two of the nicest & most-fun folks to be around & took care of me & alot of my pals during race weeks like loving grandparents, when we were still young kids at heart (so were they too). Cliff's van parked in the pits next to the ramp served as a 'mini oasis' in the hot desert sun during arrival days (& ramp news center), while Medge ran the NAG trailer w/other member volunteers.

Thanks dear Betty Bear, f/keeping that wonderful air race tradition alive & goin' strong still during race week...
