Re: ANY WORD ON ARLINGTON EAA SHOW???

We had the CAF's B-25 "Maid in the Shade" as well as the Flying Heritage Collection's Spitfire in the show doing fly bys on Saturday. The B-25 flew Sunday as well.

    Other warbirds included a T-6, Tracker, L-19's, L-2, Navion's and one or two Focke Wulf/Piaggio P.149.

Had some last minute cancellations which kept the numbers thin.

By the way, the EAA disassociated itself from all fly ins (other than Oshkosh) about three years ago. So we're known officially as the Arlington Fly-In.

We may have been on the light side with few Warbirds, but the whole Warbird area, now known as Camp Adams, had seven forums and six authors of aviation/military history to enlighten or amuse the listeners. We had an RC tank battle site that included bridges, houses, etc. for simulated warfare. We were rained out on Thurs, but there were airshows and military vehicle parades daily. The whole area had enhancements for family oriented activities. The camp-ground was full, many people tented under their plane's wings. There was really something for everyone.
