I wonder how the power of that naturally aspirated 720 compares to what the turbo 540 was making? With the weight penalty of the 720 I hope the power level went up some.

Don't know if this is true or not, but we can only hope...

Relentless announces a new powerplant to capture the Gold at Reno 2011. Kevin Eldridge announced today his NXT Relentless will be powered by a twin turbocharged 720 cubic inch Lycoming for the September races. Performance numbers were not being disclosed, but, as always, we can expect Relentless to push the limits. Good luck.
