  • Galloping Ghost Gear Test

    Attached is a link to 10 minutes of video I shot on the ramp when Jimmy was making a few high speed passes to make sure the gear doors were staying properly closed at speed.

    You'll have to forgive the quality as this is a rough edit and I was not able to keep the Ghost in frame on most of the passes as I was zoomed way in most of the time trying to focus on the gear doors.

    I had fun watching it. Thought some of you might too. At least the sound is decent.

      That was great, thanks for posting. The is one mean looking machine. Reminds me of the P-63 in the Cleveland days with the drastic cut of the wings, I think it was down to something like 25feet. I'm curious, why did he taxi back? I think that airplane will be the one to beat at Reno, if mechanical problems don't stop them.
