A buddy/co-worker of mine took his little Avid Flyer on one of those backcountry excursions around Idaho this past year. He showed me a few pics and video of some of the "airfields" he flew into that, to me, looked like nothing more than a dirt path barely suitable to drive on. He also mentioned one field he flew into that after landing and roll-out he didn't get on the brakes fast enough... started rolling backwards down the hill.Comment

New to the group. Used to spend time, 20+ yrs ago, at some of Idaho's strips when there was much less congestion
You might be thinking of Mile High. Youtube has a few videos of that strip. And no, never attempted that one...
