                  Fantastic photos. Thanks much for sharing them. The craftsmanship is just impressive.


                  Wow, a Shoestring looks even smaller without skin. If it weren't for the large motor up front, I'd be looking for where one mounts the servos and RC radio (I've seen flying models bigger than that!)

                        I should say that there were many involved with building her. But my Father was owner till about 1951.

                          They could not even afford an engine so Bob Downey loaned them his.My Father was flying the Ballerina so Bob flew the Shoestring.
