A class act all the way and one of the truly great legends of aviation history. Such an incredibly gifted pilot and hero to so many...

I have an old program from the 1973 Mohave Air Races signed by Mr. Hoover when I was just a kid. I also built one of the plastic models of Ol' Yeller, which was based on the Rockwell International scheme.

I always think of that trademark straw hat, the big wave, and Bob's big beaming smile.
