Our model is built to stand the test of time, if it does not get mid-aired, and even if it does.

At aproximately 14.5 lbs, 1/6th scale, close to 6 HP @ 10,400 rpm (static), 15"x17" narrow home-made redneck CNC manufactured carbon props, she'll do an easy 190 mph sea level, with awesome sound from the supercharged fuel injected 1.75" displacement engine on about 55% nitro.

Oh yeah, and its ORANGE !!!

You've got to take some pictures at the airport with hangar doors or other planes near it. It looks so full sized and life like. Can you build 5-10 of them and paint them all the Bears colors from years back and have a little harem of Rare Bears?

kiwiracefan, Thanks for the sentiment that she's not too hard on the eyes!

Grumpy, She is the product of a 2 man team effort with me as the apprentice/hack to a master molder. At this point we have molds and templates for Rare Bear, P-51D (we only do racer versions), Corsair, Cessna 182, and something slightly different, our "SlipStream" delta.

SkyvanDelta, OOHHH how I would feast on that "little Bear harem" if we made it real. Each airplane is pretty dang labor intensive though, just generating the paint scheme and graphics for one version is almost overwhelming.

lowpasskid, I fully intend to share flight video, fairly soon hopefully!

NoVibes, Tom, all kidding aside, you are one of the very few that I would let fly her!

Well Chuck I do appreciate that.
And you'll be happy to know that my silver butcher bird came thru the race weekend unscathed.
And with two breakout times to my credit. Saturday was a 1:29:08.
Sunday with a little red P-47 trying to get a line on me I ran the blunt nosed beast to a 1:26 and change! Can you say, "BREAKOUT!" ?
But it was fun doing it!
