The MT prop saved my life, I doubt I will ever race a metal prop again. Clearly we should have waited for the counter weighted blades that were in production at MT......

We got to Reno on Tuesday evening and just had time to do a quick walk through the pits. We walked past the Sport pits. I saw Relentless without the prop, but Kevin was there talking to people. It wasn't until later that night I realized that he had a mayday. I watched him all week long. Kevin always had time for any questions, he worked the Lightspeed booth and smiled the whole time.

How is it that I blow the transmission in my mini-van and am pissed for 2-3 days. Kevin has a wild ride and loses everything from the firewall forward and holds his head high all week long. I am sure that he can not even tell us how many hours he has had getting ready between 2009 and 2010 and have it all go away on Tuesday.

On Sunday I called to him and he brought a shirt up to a little 6-8 year old kid. Still smiling he thanked all of us fans in the stands. I didn't see anyone working harder than Kevin all week long. I will remember his attitude next time something doesn't go right for me.

I will also be pulling for him next year, I can't wait to shake his hand after he win's the Super Sport Gold.

Hi Kevin, just repeating what everyone else has been saying but NICE JOB!!!

I have a quick question though, not being that familiar with composite construction or repairs, how involved is it to repair the lower cowl? I'm assuming the upper cowl can be replaced, but it seems the lower part is an extension of the body.

I second what degroodtt said. I talked to Kevin for a bit Friday about the mayday and he was answering everyone's questions as well. Sunday I saw him in the stands handing out t-shirts to kids. Real nice guy and a great ambassador for the sport.

Actually a repair is not a big deal but I have a few extra cowlings that are new and I plan on repairing Relentless with all new parts. About the same amount of time and it gives me an opportunity to crisp it up a bit!!!
