SUPER-SPORT CLASS GOLD AWARDS (Reno 2009)
Reno '09 NCAR featured the second-consecutive running of- Sport Class Gold + Super-Gold racing division event competition. Though not everyone's quite-yet convinced the decision f/a S-Gold split was really necessary, there's no doubt whatsoever that the Sport Class overall keeps getting faster & more exciting to watch every year!!!
Here's a quick recap of this year's Super-Sport Class Gold Race award winners, w/their race speed results for the 5-Lap final...
1st-Place: Jon Sharp - NXT #3X- 'Nemesis' @ 407.061-av/mph (R)
Not only did Team Nemesis win all the marbles this year in the Sport Class' S-Sport Division, but they also broke speed records every time they flew for the money: Top-Qualifier (412.554-mph,-a new Record), & finished 1st-Place in HT-1A @ 393.282-av/mph (R), HT-2A @ 399.336-av/mph (R), HT-3A @ 406.051-av/mph (R) & Sunday Gold's 407.061-mph Record Speed!!!
Jon & Trish Sharp & crew's tough 7-year NXT competitive campaign has been a real test for everyone involved, but their shining triumph this year is a great testimony to their combined talents, dedication & persistence, & enduring faith in their own design project's potential. CONGRATULATIONS- TEAM NEMESIS!!!
