  • Other NXT projects?

    Congrats Jon and Kevin!
It was great seeing the two NXTs doing so well this year but what's happening with the other NXT projects out there?

Dan Wright's was for sale a while back... has it been sold?

AeroChia is making progress on a couple of kits (including Tracer). Will these making the dance in 2010?

I believe Kevin has mentioned a few other kits being worked on (besides Tracer)...

I'd love to see a couple more NXTs and TMs in the Super Sport. This class is quickly becoming one of my favorites and, IMHO, represents the future of air racing.

What years will Super Sport reach 425, then 450 mph?

      Re: Other NXT projects?

I could see them getting to 425 within a few years, maybe sooner if Jon keeps the trend going. 450 is probably a ways off given the current class regs on kits, displacement, weight, etc...

Would turbines get them to 450?

How about a Sport Unlimited class with the only restriction being the 4500lb weight limit? Let the "one-off" projects come play...

theres three of them all half built and collecting dust at chia's shop, i think they've all hit funding problems, and have been pushed on to the back burner.
