Air racin' in 3D?

After watching maybe a dozen people in press vests attending to a bulky camera and gurney on the ramp at Stead today, I asked one of the crew if they were working on the pay-per-view video production.

He said they intend to use footage from this Reno and next year in a 3D IMAX production!

Love to hear more if anyone gets the details!

Imax? That means we may get to see full-motion race video with Victor Archer-style sharpness and quality. Looking forward to that!

There's an IMAX theater in the plans for the Legends mall, the place in Sparks with the Unlimited yard art.
