I only heard an engine was diverted from "FIFI" to the bear cave, but nothing since. I'm confident that mechanics who have changed R3350's on Bearcats before is no problem. I ain't never done it though. But I have changed a drive motor on a Charlatte T135. In 4-5 hours.
