    Check these out:

      Re: Camera Help Needed

We use a Panasonic DMC-FZ28. It has lots of zoom and image stabilization which helps a lot. Only goes to F8 so prop blur on a sunny day is hard to do.

Panasonic has today announced the Lumix DMC-FZ28. The new camera is the successor to the popular FZ18 and comes with a slightly increased resolution (10.1 vs 8.0 MP) and all the zoom range you could ever need (27-486mm, 35mm equivalent). However, if that's still not enough there is also an optional 1.7x tele converter available. The Lumix DMC-FZ28 will be available in the UK from August for £329.99.

Please, Don't leave out the Nikon line (D70) or higher. The Canon D50 is good. The "Chaser of Electrons" uses Nikon but always argues with me about the Canon. They can be cheap or expensive. You must look to the future of your ambition in photography and the extent of your resources to which camera will be the one. There are many choices. With the latest technology, you cannot go wrong. Many are bordering on 30 MGP but they are costly. Don't fret and have fun. Digitals take many pics (2200 with an 8g card) and you can pic your best. The "Alien" should come in about now to respond to this thread. He is one of the BEST around. M

I think Best Buy had that Nikon in this weeks ad for $249.00. Seemed like a good price for 10 MGP + 15 X zoom. Might have to pick one up myself.
