Not many ramp shots this year as I wanted to try and hone my skills at the pylons and try some new techniques along with my equipment before September and I am pretty happy with how I did. I will be posting more the next few days.

Your skills improve with each trip out to the sticks. Those are some impressive images from PRS. Did you take advantage of the free Nikon goodies or did you stick with your own equipment? Either way, you have the talent, the eye, and the skills for aviation photography, and the right people are starting to take notice of that. keep up the great work, and who knows, perhaps an opportunity will present itself to you here in the the near future. Come to Reno prepared!!!!

Thanks Dave, as Tim points out below I used my Canon gear. I wanted to try the Nikon stuff but didn't feel like learning a whole new system at the time along with making sure my gear wouldn't have any major problems like last year.

I feel like I did improve, but I still have a long way to go and that is the fun part for me

I am always prepared whenever I come to the Races

The second shot there is pretty cool. Looks like the typical "T-28 wrinkle" down the side.
