  • O/T WASP Recognition, S. 614

Hey friends, I know this is O/T & there are a lot more serious things going on in the world right now, but the WASP (Women Airforce Service Pilots) are currently the subjects of senate bill, S. 614, to award this amazing group of women a Congressional Gold Medal. Please call or write your elected officials requesting their support of this important piece of legislation, recognizing one of the most overlooked groups in our aviation history.

You can find more information @ http://www.wingsacrossamerica.us/

    Thanks for your support.

    O/T but TOTALLY appropriate!

I have met several in my years of aviation and they do indeed deserve recognition!

There use to be a lady that flew a "Pink" Curtis P40 to some of the air shows out West. I don't know if she was a ex-Wasp but the plane was a crowd pleaser. Randy Goss should remember.
