With the return of Riff Raff, Furias, the radically finished Voodoo, and very hopefully Precious Metal with a new owner, all we need now for 2009 is...

1) The Galloping Ghost

2) American Spirit

3) a return of Miss Merced

4) a return of Miss Trinidad (R-2000 Yak)

5) Shock Wave with a new owner???

6) Wildfire

7) what else???

Can we really wait another 11 months?

In my recent memory, this is the best it's been since waiting out the winter of 97-98 to see if MAII would make it..

2009 should be fun, but I can't wait to see Jeff's "LearSolution" at PRS in 2010 and then on the course for real a few months later. Just wish I knew who he had settled on flying her

If the information I was given about the Lear Solution is correct 2010 will be a big change in Unlimited Air Racing. Jeff is sure pouring a lot of resources (both people and $$$) into the project.

Can somebody please shed some light on the unenlightened? What is this Lear Solution? I like to think that I'm a pretty savvy air race fan, but I haven't heard a lot about this one.

I tried the link about the "Lear Solution" but it doesn't work for me? I've not heard of it before and would very much like to hear more.

All we need is for those planes to actually show up... Who knows if Furias or Riff Raff will make it. And now we have Sept pops, Sept Fury, and Big Bossman out of the mix. Not to mention Argo and Dred.... I think the unlimited class is scary for 09...
