It will fly as soon as the Mach Buster? Daryl and Matt's projects?

Not to knock the project...but I think someone would have to have a really big pair get in and fly that machine.

I love that airplane in concept. Soooooooo cool. Daring designs always tug the heartstrings.

I also was really hoping to spy some news about it this year. What a challenging concept.

I'd love to see if fly, although I can't see getting 2500 hp out of those engines without them going BANG.

Even cars make that much horsepower for only brief periods, measured in seconds, not minutes. How could these survive a full race?

Didn't the last report we had on this, say they were going to switch to a jet engine, seeing how it was to light for unlimited class?
Can't find the article, think it was in Barnstormers...

Jet1's link led to such a mention within an article, near the end of the text.

Here's the link again, in simplier form:

"Incidentally, Rose also found out that Reno has changed its jet class rules and now he's thinking of installing a jet engine in the Renegade and giving that bunch of L-39 drivers a little competition. "

Man, those props look like something you would find in a Graingers catalog.
