from behind the scenes, Steve Forsen (BIG Steve) passed away today after collapsing at the races. He was a long time air race fan, ramp operations guy, lefty gardner crew member and some of you may have known him. Steve was not in the best of shape and had a couple of issues heart and diabetes related. it hapened right after I had talked with him and he was jovial and happy to be at Reno once again so i guess there are worse ways to go. I don't know if it was a stroke or a heart issue, but just thought some of you might have known him a big guy with a big blue ram and a big smile most of the time. Blue skies steve.............
