  • The poster that almost was...

I had the honor of being asked to submit a poster for consideration for this years Reno National Championship Air Races, unfortunatly mine was not picked. Never the less I thought I'd still share it with you...

Tough competition! Nice work... can tell a lot of time went into it Vic....

Think of the time you saved though, having to sign all those posters we'd be buying if you'd have gotten the gig!!

Is there anyway to see the rest of the "almost" winners?

Nice job Victor! I'd buy one and I'm picky about the posters.
I competed in 1986 for a tribute to Scholl, and lost. But it was fun.

Man.... who the he!! is picking these posters. That is beautiful. That design puts many I have seen in the past to shame.

it did not win because he forgot to put the Scolari's food and drug in the corner.

I'll be darned. Your poster depicts the exact order of the 2008 Gold Finals.

                        How'd you do that?

Among others in this sport who are artists, Victor Archer is an absolute treasure!

His works are beyond compare, I count our blessings every time he contributes something here...

Victor, I hope you don't let this year's disappointment stop you from participating in competitions in years to come! You're gifted, and we all appreciate your efforts!!!
