Bicycles in the pits

I seem to remember that RARA was reportedly experimenting with allowing unregistered bicycles in the pits last year to see how it worked.

Does anyone know if they will be allowed this year?

Just need to know whether to bring mine or not.

Afternoon Danno,

According to the RARA Pit, Hanger and Ramp Rules Attachment, para. 19. b. "Bicycles, Golf Carts and ATV's must be individually approved by RARA and must have the proper decal affixed therto."

So to answer your question, yes bicycles are allowed, provided you can obtain a decal. Knowing RARA the decals will be distributed to the teams and you'll have to know someone to get one.

Off the subject, but are you in Merced Ca? Your picture is of a B25J that I last heard was based at the old CAFB in Merced.
