      Re: Got Balls?

      Well...that just leaves me speechless...

I would have to drink a couple or so shots of something strong to hold a camera that steady.

      Great shots Alien one...

couple shots and a strong TRIPOD is what I'd need.

I dont think 232 is currently as put together as in that shot. I am guessing its last years race.

Sorry for the confusion on the photos, they were taken last September.

Hang on just a second here folks. If there is one, and only one arena in which we mere mortals have a snowball's chance of keeping pace with Mr. Archer, I contend it lies in the arena of parked (as in not moving and therefor easy to keep in the frame) aircraft. In all other areas, I too bow to our Alien overlord.

At the risk of taking this off topic... I find it amazing that enough air can pass between the spinner and the cowling to cool the motor.

Is it my imagination, or is a red shop rag getting picked up by the prop?

                            Lance,
A properly designed Pressure cowl with augmented exhaust will actually suck the air in through that space, so more than enuogh space. as to the original question got balls,

At one point we w'ere having extended power runs with Rare Bear and I was standing at the gear leg on the tow bar lug, holding a water hose on the oil cooler inlet that was tie wrapped to the gear leg but needed direction into the inlet at about 28 Inches of manifold pressure the suction from the back side of the propeller started pulling hard enough for me to have to fight it at about thirty inches the tail started to rise off the ground to the point that it was bouncing against the force of the elevator holding it down for about five mintues I thought I was going to sucked forward. The next run we chained the tail down, and tied a rope around the strut and myself.

I have video of "Samurai" doing high power runs on the ramp and it looks like the tail is going to shake off!
Must have had quite the pucker factor BellCobra!
We need to find a shortcut way of saying "Nice shots Victor".
                              maybe "Props"?
