  • Leeward Air Ranch Warbird Fly-Out

Some shots from the annual Leeward Air Ranch Warbird Fly-Out. Not many planes this year due to the torrential rain the last couple days.

One of ours. A rare 1937 Ryan SC-W. I'm actually named after this plane.

Another one of ours. A 1932 Aeronca C-3 Razorback, owned by my great-grandfather.

    Unlimited spotted!

    Notice anything different?

    4-seat Skyraider.

Cloud Dancer in full flyby mode.

    Another former unlimited, Bardel Special.

Ryan, I'm worried that you're not having enough fun down there! BTW, do you guys now own Riff Raff? It has the Air Ranch logo on it, along with a few other news ones. Also, are you checked out in the Ryan?

I made it down to Sun 'n Fun last year, but work and weather are keeping me home this year.

Actually, I'll be in Ft. Lauderdale next week at the MRO show. Peas

That Skyraider looks like the SUV of warbirds .

Ryan, next time give us a heads up on the fly in. I am only 3 hours by car and an hour flight from you. If you did and I missed it I apologize.

No, we just own Mike Keenum.

Unfortunately the Ryan hasn't flown in a while. It needs a major engine overhaul and a fixed up interior.

I'm a student, but I'm working on my private.

That Aeronca brings back memories of the C-2 my father had when I was a kid. Great stuff, thanks for sharing.
              No pixels were harmed, honest.

I just but these shots up as a slide show set to music here.

I don't see anything different on Riff Raff, other than the sponsor name is gone from the fuselage.

There is a thread on WAP with a picture of the Ghost. No engine in it, bare bones, would be a major miracle to see it this year.

I saw the pic. The FW-190 was cool as hell.

It just seems like they've lost interest in GG????

                          Sad...

I don't know but I don't think they lost interest.

So tell me Ryan what's a house going for now at the Ranch. Say on the runway.
