Warbird Digest article

I just read the article in Warbird Digest titled "It's like herding cats" by Scott Germain. With all you expert photo shoot guy's and gals out there I was wondering if any of you have had a similar event, or if you would care to comment on the article if you have read it. My question is, does this stuff happen, or do you tend to fly with people you know and trust when doing a air to air photo shoot.
