  • What books do you recommend ?

I would like to know more about real making of a plane and certaing calculations how theoretically stresses are calculated and wing size defined etc. How to choose wingfoil and so on.

I don't mean books about basic aerodynamics explaining what is PITCH ROLL and YAW. Or what is elevator and throttle or a landing gear.

Is Raymar the best and then what do I need ?

I was informed Raymar in no good.

Modern Aircarft Design vol.1 by Martin Hollmann is the book to buy.

      ROTFLMAO!!!!!

Raymer's book has sold over 30,000 copies, is in its 4th edition, has won numerous awards, is used in every reputable graduate program in the US, and is listed by the AIAA as THE ONE AND ONLY accepted text on conceptual design.

The only person who thinks Hollman knows what comes from between his cheeks from shinola is Hollman.

            With ROTFLMAO interpretation...correct.

We have an expression, "doesn't know sh*t from Shinola" (Shinola was/is, a brand of shoe polish)
            (It's not a compliment).
