VERY Nice, Victor!!! Love the 'gilded' canopy Raptor shot most (+the head-on Phantom sunset too). DBD

F-4's are real nice, also like the first F-22

Very nice. I love the colors in Raptor shot #3.
                      No pixels were harmed, honest.

Nice shots. Can anyone tell me why the Raptors ailerons are both canted up in each of the shots, patriculary 2 and 3?

                          I'll hazard a guess...

Due to its Delta'ish shape, the "ailerons" you speak of have a different name "Elevons", I believe.

At high speed they are used in concert as the Elevator (manageable throw), instead of the pivoting horizontal stabs (too much throw).

Both pics look like a high speed banked turn, so this would make sense?

                          Brian.

the main wing certainly is delta ish, but there are fully functional elevators behind. The ailerons (or what ever the designers hae labeled them) are both up (diminishing lift) in a turn where one might expect the need for more lift.

If you've not seen this "thing" in demo... Well the common phrase I have heard in the three times I've seen it is "that's just wrong"...

Hard to say how it does what it does but it's pretty cool to see it do it!

Ultra maneuverable and hard to see (on radar) to boot..

Pretty neat combo. We need to build a LOT of these things as fast as we can!
