Top speeds of the racers unlimited gold???

Did anybody catch the top speeds of the Bear, Sept. Fury, Dread., or others in the unlimited Gold race on Sunday??

I believe those are listed in the final race results. Check the Airrace.org site.

Those will be lap speeds though, not the max speed on a straight section of the course.

Rare Bear won @ 478.4 MPH for the entire race. Fastest LAP mentioned was 480.3, I think. And yes, these are lap speeds, not max speeds.

Sept Fury was losing about 1 second per lap to Rare Bear... so about 1/60th slower given that laps take about a minute. So... Sept Fury was doing about 470 MPH laps before it pulled out. Because it didn't complete the race, there isn't an official speed.

Dreadnaught was more or less in between September Fury and Czech Mate, so I'd guess about 450 MPH. DQ'd because of the dead line cut, so also no official speed posted.

Czech Mate finished at 434 mph for the entire race, Spirit of Texas and Riff Raff at just over 433 mph.
