Grumman buys Scaled Composites.

I don't know if it is good or bad but I see Northrop/Grumman upped their ownership of Scaled to 100%. Does that sound like a good environment for innovation?

I'm going off the top of my head regarding this, but it's the second time Burt has sold Scaled, having bought it back from I believe Lockheed. (Will have to double check that!) Burt has Scaled's best interest in mind and will remain with Scaled despite the increased share ownership. Grumman already owned 49%.

I know they already had a part and that Burt was staying on but when you have to answer to General Public shareholders I think some of the freedom is relinquished. Besides isn't it just like the big guys to move in after an idea has worked and a market emerges? I bet Burt could have used that money when this project was on paper.
