  • Frenesi is Growing

    I have been able to devote some more time to Jim Beasley's P-51K Frenesi.
    I got the new horizontal and the vertical going back together to check fits and such.
    The fuselage was done by Beck. The wings are at Aero Trader getting new spars and skin. The engine mt is at Odegarrd Wings.
    Now the question, Race number and pilot when this aircraft last raced?

        From Warbird Registry:
        The warbird registry follows the history of all North American Aviation P-51 Mustangs that survived military service.

          To further confuse things;
          This picture shows 3 aircraft that raced at Reno and Moosejaw.
          These, of course, are other than Frenesi.
          Name the years raced for each, race # and extra credit for the pilots.

                        Frenesi is very much a D model, guys. I just hope she stays green -- we don't have enough O. D. Mustangs any more...

                              Does JB have to run lower power settings during the Horsemen routine in the Princess due to the slicker airframe?
