Log airport ay... There certainly ARE a few logs in this town!

Here's a few from Saturday, light in your eyes, overcast, nice practice with new lens.... Color may be a bit off since I was playing with polarizer and I'll admit to never really truly understand where to set them for proper effect??

Nice Wayne... If there were 4 blades on that T6, you'd a had the full arc.

Thank you for posting those, Wayner.
FYI: The T-6 is Greg Anders plane.
The four-ship was the Missing Man fly-by just prior to execution.
Jerry Janes and Company were weathed out.
Since we were only a "fly-in", we flew with pax.
This was the 3rd Annual community celebration/fund-raiser for M.O.M.S, the group that sends care packages to our troops.
It was complete with a Country singer, a drive-by with a Harley club, delivering their contribution, Military Vehicle Preservation Club, and the planes of the Cascade Warbirds, Sq. 2 of the EAA.
Griffon Girl was also there and will post some good pictures.

LOL... I was just twisting your nipple.

Not bad for first outing with new, VERY heavy lens that I'm totally unused to... Good thing is tho, I shoot a heavy lens a LOT better than light due to some hand shake that set in after I went through my little "ordeal" a couple years back... (actually, thank you God, THREE YEARS NEXT MONTH!)

Arm waving, I can handle or train myself to handle, damn hand shake is what it is.. Heavy lens damps it quite well, as does VR!

I have to thank everyone here who contributed to the bad disk fund! Had you guys not bailed me on that one, I could NOT have "afforded" (read that, last bit left on cards) to go way too deep in debt and get my dream lens (Nikon 200-400vr) but we only go round once and I'm 56 now so who knows, if I waited too long, maybe it'd be TOO long!

Hope to get back up there in a bit and get some more... if the light gets better, totally overcast at the moment and you wind up shooting right into the bright... coupled with they are right over your head, it's not too good shooting.. Will see...
