    does anyone have a picture of the mustang at mustang ranch airport? Its in sacramento ca area.

            Yes, but it is not a TF-51. It was extensively rebuilt as a Cavalier 2000 with the plush business configuration in the late 1960s, and was actually the focus of a Flying Magazine article in February 1969.

            Cavalier 2000s had a second seat.

            Ex 44-73454 Cavalier changes include tip-tanks, tall tail, and extended canopy. Aircraft has since been restored to stock P-51D. - Photo taken at Philadelphia - International (Municipal) (PHL / KPHL) in Pennsylvania, USA on August 10, 1970.

                Dick Bellen(sp) purchased this 51 form John Herlihy in 83. Was the prior mount of Richard Bach, the writer, and crashed into a control tower on a pushed the tail up to soon torque thing relieving the mustang of its left wing.
