No real air show on the 6th that's a dinner/dance thing... I know some planes will be flying in, but the air show is Saturday...
Here's a couple shots from there last show:
Hey Victor, I remember those passes. Mr. Getchell almost had me diving in the weeds a few times with a few of his passes Looking forward to seeing what you get out of the camera this year.
There's much close in action to be had at this show... for those in the area it's a must go type event.
Iwont miss this show for the world. I missed the show in Auburn and I missed PRS, I even put off a camping trip a day so I could go see it
Would be nicew to meet a few affo's there
I sure do miss the radial powered attack planes they had stationed there, they used to rumble over my house, a couple times I went to that airport during big fires just so I could hear radials coming and going all day. Now they are all turbo prop, they carry more which is great!! VUt they dont sound as cool as they used to.
I was looking at the post above that contained a link to the attractions page for the airfest. In the poster it shows a pic of Voodoo, is this ac going to be there?
Looks kike it's gonna be a fun one...
Getch and his Sea Fury, Mike C. is bringing both Mustangs (sweet, the "H" will be there) plus two or three more. Chuck W. is bringing the Corsair. The Dwelle's will be there along with a few more T-6's. Seven or eight T-28's plus lots more.... And they usually have Siera Nevada on tap...
I won't make this one as I've flown over to sunny (not! ) England for Flying Legends at Duxford, probably the best warbird show anywhere. No Glacier Girl sadly, but at least Ed Shipley finally made it across the pond in the TF-51 a couple of days ago.
Have fun this weekend, those of you going, and I look forward to seeing the pictures Victor!

Don't forget the B-25's; they usually have at least one show up. Here's "Sunday Punch" doin' its thing at the 2003 show..
