Way back in the dark ages of this website (about 1997 or so) a fellow submitted his dad's story.. He flew the B-17 as crew in the war... submitted THIS STORY way back then... it remains in the archives and is a tribute to all who fought and flew so we could reman an English speaking nation!!

Dick really is a good guy . . . not only does he let us fly our high performance R/C planes at his strip in Galt, but he also gave me the ride of my life in THIS IS IT!!! . . . almost an hour of ripping around the area including some great low level stuff out in the boonies!
