This one almost got by us, but we did notice something very interesting going on in the Sport Division. Even though Darryl Greenamyer, in Race #33 Lancair Legacy broke the the Sport Division course record with today's qualifying run of 342.774 mph, John Parker, in Race #351 Blue Bijou, had a impressive qualifying time of 331.676 mph in the Thunder Mustang.

We find this quite interesting due to the fact that fastest qualifying time at Reno 2000 was 331.902 by Dave Anders in Race #25 Eggstra Special and also the winning time by Dave Morss in Race #99 Lancair IV of 328.045, in the Sport Division for Reno 2000.

So, GriffonGirls' suggestion is to keep a good eye on the Sport Division because it is shaping up to be a very fast and close series of races!
